The Ramses II exhibition in London is hosted within the industrial setting of the Battersea Power Station. This presentation, titled Ramses and the Pharaohs' Gold: The Exhibition, features over 180 original artefacts curated in partnership with the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
The collection focuses on the life of Ramses the Great King of Ancient Egypt, showcasing items, many of which have never travelled outside Egypt before
Visitors navigate through historical narratives spanning 3,000 years, covering sites such as Abu Simbel and the Valley of the Kings. The exhibition displays statues, ancient jewellery, amulets, and animal mummies.
Central to the display is the Coffin of Ramses II, which serves as the primary focal point of the collection. Located at the Ramses Battersea Power Station venue, the experience highlights the craftsmanship and governance of the 19th Dynasty.
