Explore incredible stories from the history of mail—such as five-wheeled cycles, rockets, and even an escaped lioness. See the world’s only sheet of Penny Black stamps, the first postage stamps, and admire letters recovered from a shipwreck that defied the odds of history.
Engage with interactive exhibits designed for all ages—send secret messages through pneumatic tubes, climb aboard a restored mail coach that once traveled across the country, and dive into the century-old Mail Rail, an underground network of tunnels now open to the public. Experience the thrill of a 15-minute train ride through a piece of postal history.
