Cinderella dreams of a life filled with love, adventure, and freedom from her Wicked Stepmother and Ugly Sisters. When an invitation to the most anticipated party of the year arrives, it offers her a rare chance to change her fate. With the help of a Fairy Godmother, a little sparkle of magic, and a pair of glass slippers, this classic rags-to-riches story unfolds in true pantomime style.

The production is directed by Clive Rowe and stars, in order of appearance, Jade Johnson as the Fairy Godmother, Siobhan James as Cinderella, Nicholas McLean as Buttons, Alexandra Waite-Roberts as Oblivia the Wicked Stepmother, Kat B and George Heyworth as Flatula and Nausea the Ugly Sisters, Chrissie Bhima as Dandini, and Luke Latchman as Prince Charming.

Bringing this much-loved tale to life in Hackney, the pantomime features all the traditional ingredients audiences expect, including extravagant costumes, lively audience participation, and sensational song and dance numbers, performed by an outstanding cast.

By train: Hackney Central train station is approimately 300m from Hackney Empire Theatre which has regular trains linking to the Tube with direct interchanges at Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line), Stratford (Central Line) and West Hampstead and Canada Water (Jubilee Line). Bethnal Green (Central Line) is a short bus ride away. Hackney Downs is approximately 640m away with trains going into Liverpool Street.

What a fun evening! The humour, acting, and energy were perfect. I especially loved the Fairy Godmother and the dazzling stage design. Highly recommended!

Took my nieces and they were absolutely enchanted from the first song to the last bow. The Ugly Sisters had us laughing nonstop and the music was brilliant. Such a joyful and unforgettable show!

As a lifelong musical lover, this production was everything I hoped for. The cast brought Cinderella’s story to life beautifully, and the singing was breathtaking. The audience interaction made it even more fun, especially for kids. A wonderful experience for all ages!
